Kyosho, naa we won't kill ya, hmmmm, naaa. You didn't mention which model of the Kyosho you were looking at. If it's the Caliber 400, here's a site for $269.

Don't know what kind of research you have done, but, always check price of spare parts and availablity.
I'm kind of an impulse buyer, as you know, I've had alot of different helis. The two big mistakes I made were the Falcon 3D and the Raptor G2 (AKA Walkera). I don't regret it, it's all a leaning experience and I love the heli. Can't get enough of 'em. Just don't always have the time.

I'm going to say a nasty word here...I've been sorta eyeballing a Kyosho (don't kill me). The quality and workmanship on the one I was looking at is ASTOUNDING! Kyosho has been in the heli thing since Christ was a Corpral. One little drawback...EXPENSIVE little buggers. $350.00 for an equal to the Blade CP with Bell-Hiller add-on. It's built like an Abrams tank though. It looks like you could make a 63 yard field goal attempt with it...and you wouldn't scratch it. It's their entry level heli with a hughes canopy. I was basically scanning the net for a nitro .30 sized heli that would be RTF...and that aint happening cause they don't exist that I could see.
