You should run it stock first so you know what your mods did for you. Also, the stock motor with a good pipe is a great place to start. Plenty of power to get into trouble
If you still want more power, try a motor kit, you will already have the exhaust. Buying a high-end motor and not running a tuned exhaust will somewhat defeat the purpose of the modded motor.
