The MCD filter is supposed to be quite good from what I understand, but I've head it can definatley benifit from a pre-filter as well.

I'm not saying the Duratrax is the best filter out there...............just that it can't be beat for the price. When I picked up my MCD, it was gonna be $40+ for a decent filter (MCD, FG, or aftermarket), so I opted for the Firehammer one on the basis of price. So far, it's been awsome.

If the MCD one works, I'd just stick with it.
