Default RE: Trainer Selection

I just got done building a new Tower Trainer .40 MKII ARF. Overall, it's a nice trainer and a good deal for the money. I had a few minor issues with the build that annoyed me, particularly the aileron and throttle servo cutouts being way too small and needing bored out with a dremel tool.

Based on my experience, I might recommend the Hangar 9 Solo Sport/Solo Star trainer ARFs or the Seagull Models Arising Star .40 ARF. These ARFs are only $10 more than the Tower Trainer .40 MKII ARF, and I believe they would go together just a bit easier than my Tower Trainer ARF did.

If you don't mind spending a little bit of extra time fitting and sanding components as you go, the Tower Trainer .40 MkII ARF is a very good value, and I'm looking forward to flying mine once our eight inches of fresh snow melts off.
