seth, the last time I had a pinion stuck on I used heat. It made the thread lock melt (I used too much red lock on the pinion) and the grub screw able to be turned. Congrats on your win...$10 is an awesome price for a XXX-T especially with all that graphite. Have fun!!!

BTW...I concur with what BoysToys said. I have a Novak Velociti 6.5R brushless on my XXX-T and set my diff and slipper like B. does. I have not had even the slightest problem with stripping down or wearing out the gears.
