Definitely true. The traxxas is on the ground frequency. I can't remember what is is right now but Im thinking 50mhz. As biged said even if it worked its illigal. but it won't work.

Also on the Hitec if it says to use a Hitec or Futaba radio theres a good chance you should do just that.
