The weight will be no problem,
The plane will only be around 5 1/2 lbs when complete. The finish is actually very light and the details that I am adding will only add a few ounces. I built 2 JSM Aircoupe(roughtly the same dimensions) and covered and detailed the same way and the .52 was perfect for the plane.
I may be wrong but we will find out come maiden time
