Spektrum DX2 or DX3. Or if you already have the DX6/7, you can use that too if you don't mind the stick style radio.
The system works beautifully on the water despite the rumors. I also run in a lake that is about 10' below ground level and that might have something to do with it.

First pic is how I have the main antenna aligned up 90deg when it exits the radio box.
I did this to give the antenna as much exposure as possible. It's also wise to do this with any surface antenna. Has to do with the resonant freq and all that happy electron stuff.
You can also see how the micro antenna sits.

Next pic is the rcvr sitting in the box. The antenna is bent up 90deg inside the radio box, then exits the front of the radio box, is bent again at 90deg, then goes to the port side of the radio box, around to the stern, and connects to the micro antenna.

I posted this here also (also posted in the Spektrum SV thread), in case that one dies out.
