To fly the Pegasus .40 super combo, you simply need to attach the wing halves to one another then attach the wing to the airframe, attach the tail assembly and connect the elevator and rudder pushrods to the control horns, and attach the landing gear. You'll also want to charge up the receiver and transmitter batteries with the included AC charger overnight before your first flight.

Once you've got this accomplished, you'll simply need to head to the flying field with a bottle of glow fuel for airplanes (10% nitro with castor oil or a synth/castor blend would be good), a fuel pump system, a glow ignitor, and a chicken stick or electric starter.

If you've never flown a glow plane previously, you should work with an experienced glow pilot to help you check out the plane before flight and to fly with you on a "buddy box" system so you can get the hang of the plane. The Pegasus is plenty gentle for primary training, but is also aerobatic enough that you will be able to learn all of the aerobatic manuevers on the Sportsman pattern schedule with it once you're ready to advance past basic flight.

The Pegasus .40 super combo is an absolute bargain. It's like buying a top-shelf ARF and radio system on sale, having them throw in a really good engine for free, and then assembling almost all of it for free, too.

My advice is find a club that you like, buy the glow trainer package that you like and that the training instructors at your club are comfortable with, and have fun!
