Default RE: New Seagull Edge 540 "68

Good luck getting a ST G90 anywhere close to 14K rpms, unless you want to run an 11x6 prop.
ORIGINAL: Tesla1856

I'm running a Saito 1.25 4-stoke in mine, but if this spec. from Tower is correct, it should work:

SuperTigre G-90 Ringed w/Muffler
Output: 2.5 bhp at 14,800 rpm

This is what the Seagull manual says on recommended engine size for the Edge 540
.61- .91 cu.in - 2-stroke.
.91-1.00 cu.in - 4-stroke.

With 15%+ fuel and the right prop., it should fly fine for sport and pattern.

I'm not a 3D flyer, just a sport flyer that dabbles in some pattern stuff. So, that being said, what do you think of this plane and a Super Tigre G90? I'm looking to replace my Hobbico Sukhoi.
