Your 1.08 + 300 grams of lead correct? If you remove the lead and the 1.08 and install the q35 but add only 40 grams to the tail, your net weight gain is only 40 grams plus the balancing weight of the q35. Maybe a total additional weight of 150 grams. That about 6 ounces. Shouldn't be a big deal in this plane. Take the lead out of the tail and move the battery back some.
