HI All.....

I'm new here and new to the world of RC flying! (Altough I'm a commercial pilot, now laid off, in real life).
Anyway...I recently got a P51D PTS (0.46) which I started building already; I now have to decide on which engine and prop to get for it...
I really would like to leave the P51 as a warbird and its flight behaviors as the full scale one so I don`t need anything powerful....
I'm looking for suggestions and ideas.

Thank you
Emanuele
The best engine for this bird is any good 0.46 like OS.
If you like more power and try to stay at the same weight the OS 0.55 AX ABL is the right engine for you. With this engine you can swing from a 12x7 to a 13x7 prop.
BTW: a Cessna 182 is a slow flying aircraft a P51D is a fast airplane -- the full scale made 437mph, at the air-shows they fly the Mustangs like Cessna's.......sad but true.
Anyhow, here is more to read about the P51PTS.......[link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3102050/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm]click here[/link]
Happy landings [sm=thumbs_up.gif]
