Saw this post by Scoob at the GTB 4.5R vs. Mamba thread.. I thought this is a pretty good post... hope Scoob does not mind me re-posting his post..

Scoob's post:

They will be about the same, power-wise with normal voltage.

I have been racing a Mamba with 4600 and 5700 motors off-road. I am going back to a Novak though because it still has that sensorless feel that is sometimes less predictable. VERY smooth for a sensorless though and in my opinion the first raceable sensorless (besides a u-force 75 which is expensive). It's just that I do bad enough without putting myself at a disadvantage. The Novak was just better for racing where you need total control, while with any sensorless there are times when I feel like the throttle is not totally accepting fine changes or inputs. I used to race motocross so I compare it to the way a 2-stroke dirtbike felt when the power would sometimes come on uncontrollably and other times just bog.

For Just playing around in the yard or parking lot ect. I'd go Mmaba all the way. It has so many more options for power with higher voltage and settings on the ESC so you can get creative and have a blast. I won't be selling my Mamba, it's going in a play truck.
