Default RE: mods

the thing i'm worried is about the belt breaking alot, and forking up the money for it. i've been looking at the followin cars

HPI Sprint 2 Drift RTR w/Nissan 350Z Body : [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPVL2&P=0]http://http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPVL2&P=0[/link]
Tamiya Nismo R34 GT-R Z-Tune TT01 Kit : [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLWS2&P=7]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLWS2&P=7[/link]
Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC '05 TT-01D Drift Spec Kit : [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKSG4&P=7]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKSG4&P=7[/link]

i've read that the sprint 2 is an overall good car for smooth surfaces, but if i want to go on the road other then my smooth driveway, just to fool around ain't i risking the belt? while the tt01(d) can go on any surface, but will need enough upgrades to full fill a decent drift session.

and......

The Sprint 2 can easily take on a rough surface just like any shaft car. Just a little modification, and you can pretty much run it on any surface up against any shaft car.
what mod can i du for is to run on any surface?....i have't seen it in the forum. percentage wise, 75% i'll probably get the HPI because of it's many tweeking features, but 70% for the tt01(d) because of it's many running surfaces and low maintenence.
