How do you turn the receiver off without also disconnecting power to the motors? Doesn't make sense. If you turn of the TRANSMITTER with the battery connected in the heli, it will definitely jump around. That part is normal.

Check the batteries in your xmitter to make sure they're fresh. Make sure your crystals are properly seated, both in the receiver and transmitter. Neall
