Hey guys, I am interested in this hobby and I am not sure what to look for in buying an RC. I know I want a buggy type or truck so I can run both on and off road. I don't think I will be entering any contest or competitions but would like to try it eventually. Thats why I don't really want an entry level vehicle but also don't want to break the bank. I'm budgeting around 3 or 400 for this and have been looking at models like Traxxas, HPI or Kyosho. Any suggestions? Most of the buggys I found were also 2 wd. Should I be considering 4 wd arent' they easier to control?

Your input would be greatly appreciated as I am a total newb to this.
