Heya everyone.
Just ordered my axe cp this week from Tower Hobbies. They're out of stock until about mid march.
So while I'm waiting I got out the old Dave Brown RCFS2001 simulator with the old brown box controller that came with his first sim.
I got bored with the standard to helo's offered and started searching the web.
I found a sim called FMS, and it's free.
Downloaded and installed it today. I've been playing around with different helo's and scenerys all day.
I found a little electric helo for FMS called the T REX. I've been playing with it most of the day.
Can anyone with FMS and the Axe CP tell me if the T REX flies anything like the Axe CP?
Is there another electic helo for FMS that duplicates the characteristics of the Axe CP more closely?
I just dropped 200 bucks on the helo, and can't afford to drop another 200 on realflight just yet, though I did play around with it at the LHS the other day and was very impressed.
It also looks like I'll be able to hook up the Axe CP controller to the computer through FMS; anyone done this yet?

I've been reading though this post quite a bit and can't wait for the Axe CP to show up on the doorstep.
