Erm, torque is in the motor.
It's about how hard it can pull; soo it will pull any gear setup at the same rate. Torque to the wheels is what you may be thinking, but this is RC Drifting, it really isn't necessary. It doesn't take much for the drift tires to loose grip, and torque is what's doing that.
What you don't want is high RPM transferred through a long-geared gearbox. For drifting you need more control than running the risk of having the wheels going too fast all the time. Run the standard spur gear in a TT01, or if it's any other chassis it's whatever spur you can get with the most teeth. Then you want a slightly higher pinion gear than stock, because otherwise you won't get a speed benefit from that shiney new motor.
