Tex, I think they just break easy when u contact the ground or something else in a less desirable manner than landing. They are harder to replace, but much cheaper than a set of blades. I don't think it is a design flaw, just a weak point in the rotor system. I am planning on getting the cnc parts when they are all available, hopefully that will help. By then I should be able to fly much better so I may not need frequent replacements anyway. Then again, the learning curve on a heli is quite long.

I agree, the learning curve is tough. With a little patience though it can be done quickly. I am at the point now where inverted flight is possible, I am just being conservative and waiting for more flight time before venturing into inverted flight.
What battery are you using now?
