I am looking at the same thing. If I order the frame, thats 89.00 Cheapest brushed ESC that I know of that will accept LIPO batteries is a GWS that runs about 25.00 I think. Cheap corona or Berg receiver for 20-40 with crystal, then lipos for about 33 each if I order from United Hobbies. I have a bunch of smaller lipos 20c lipos from them that work great.
There are several sellers on ebay offering the Spit with a extra battery and free shipping, so that is tempting.
