Default break-in fuel

Chad,

My experience/opinion differs from Ed's. Per Saito's engine manual/instructions, what you are running now is correct for your Saito 100.

I run Cool Power 15% 2 stroke fuel in my Saito 100, and in my 13 other Saito engines, ranging in size from .56 to 270, including 5 twins. I've never had a lubrication related failure.

Horizon recommends Cool Power 30% Heli fuel. I don't need that - power and idle is great on 15%. Also, if you want to keep your engine clean, use a fuel with straight synthetic oil, not a blend with castor oil. Your 4 stroke's exhaust is hotter than that from a 2 stroke, and the castor will coat your muffler in no time.
