My setup - which has been used for cars as well as planes consists of a Sears compressor such as this http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...cemldffidfko.0 which I have had since 1974 (completely trouble free) along with a regulated water trap. For painting planes I use http://www.cpocampbellhausfeld.com/a...ns/dh5500.html I personally like getting a brand name item instead of those from Harbor Freight, especially since the prices are basically the same as in this case. I got the spray gun at Lowe's.
