yes i have the rudder plugged to the gyro.. which is plugged to the rudder on my reciever :-)

i have a JR7202 transmitter and JR R790 7ch receiver.. since i think the throttle stick is connected directly to the engine throttle lever (which would make sense) so then back to ptb, yes putting the single-wire from the gyro to 5th channel called "Gear" makes perfect sense.. just needed some reassurance.. anyhow, if i plug my pitch servo to ch 6, called "AUX1".. where do i control it from? i dont seem to find a place to do so.. or maybe im stupid.. or that is the left top 3-position switch? just kind of confused... would be nice if someone tells me what the pitch does anyway??
