Your pitch is controlled by the same stick that controls your throttle. Your radio mixes it.
As you increase throttle you also increase pitch.
In heading hold and idle up modes your throttle stick no longer controls your throttle and you are only controlling pitch. (throttle runs at a preset speed when used. Throttle hold will have low speed to practice autorotations and idle up will have a fast speed for 3d flying)
