ORIGINAL: gkamysz

One thing I did notice is that it is extremely tight at TDC with the head installed with the plug removed. Without the head on there is only a slight pinch. How are your engines?
Same here i get tight at TDC, the sleeve are little to soft to be formed of pressure of cylinder head. But it must be a little tapered sleeve to keep compression when the engine are cold. When the engine get work temperature, the sleeve will expand more, there are very little leakage. It is neccesary to get oil lube to go between sleeve and piston, text way are to lube moving parts in crank case.
