It is running the standard HPI engine. I have not tried a new glow plug but I just checked the one that is in there. The whole thing seems to glow pretty good apart from the very tip ( the part that touches the rim).
I have tried factory settings for a bit. Car was slow as hell but still cut out after about 30 seconds. It does not have a fuel filter fitted but I will check the pipes to make sure there is no blockage in them.
Keep the ideas coming please.
Many thanks
Adam

It sounds like either to much fuel is being dumped into the carb or a lack of fuel. If you are running at factory settings it SHOULD run but will run very rich (lots of fuel).
Have you tried a new glow plug? Do you have a fuel filter? Make sure all the fuel lines are not clogged. Same with your fuel tank. What engine are you running?

Well seems as everyone is complaining that it is so quiet around here, you wont mind helping me out before my MT2 lands up in the skip. I'll try to cover everything but if you need any more info just holla.
The problem is that I just can not keep it running for long. It starts up fine and idles fine, but it just keeps on cutting out on me. It sometimes runs ok for a few minutes, but sometimes you can hardly pull off without it cutting out. It just completely bogs and dies. Sometimes it happens when the car is at WOT, and sometimes when I am just driving slow. I have reset the needles back to stock and tried tuning again but it just seems to happen all the time. I bought the car used so I dont know too much about how much use the engine has had or anything.
Basically, I am very new to Nitro so what I am really after is just as many ideas that I can check as possible until I find the fault. I have read that lack of compression can cause this. How do I check for compression??
Any help would be much appreciated as I am really regretting getting into nitro cars at all now, and would really love to get this thing running nice cos it is loadsa fun when it is running!!!!
Cheers
Adam
