Pull the wheel off the car. See on the hub the two silver set screws? Well the bolt that screws into the arms has a ball that fits into the hub...I can't remember what size allen/hex wrench it is but you can adjust it without removing the set screws or the hub. But you can always take it apart and see how the whole thing works. It's a shame you didn't get the manuals. I picked up a CT4S and the best thing about the car was the manuals. The stock arms that came with the kit weren't very strong in my opinion...I ordered a new set from CEN and they were more reinforced...while swaping them out, that is how I found out about the adjustments....
