Hi Guys,

I had a problem getting my 18ss to fire up for a while now, the story so far.

replaced head/heat sink with purple hpi varient due to threads to seat glow plug cross threading
replaced tank fuel due to old one cracking

Initialy the pull start was tight and jerky but after some help form here I identified that I had left a shim off the head and I have now replaced that.

The car now wont fire up.
The compression feels fine without glow heater inplace
With glow heater inplace it becomes harder to pull and makes a noice like it is firing once but not turning over.

does anyone have any ideas what could be the cause of this, I was guessing an airleak from the replacment head but I have used some gasket seal and still no change.

many thanks in anticipation of your help

Neal.
