Default RE: axe cp thread

ORIGINAL: xxxntwv

I just got my axe 2 weeks ago and of course got one that hops(loses about 12 inches of altidude all the sudden). So I order 3 hs 55 servos and got them installed.Well still have the same problem.Any one else have the same problem. Not too noticable outsied but in the living room can be a real pain. Also about the blade grips,I noticed the replacement I got only have the hex on one side for the nut,so 1 scew has to go in fom the bottom. Thanks for any help.
This may be symptom that your receiver is going out. My Axe did the same thing, last weekend. It acted like it was glitching and dropped obout a foot in altitude. I landed it and before I could walk over to it the heli started to jump and spin on its own. I stayed back and waited for it to stop. I then tried to control it using the radio but I did not get any response. It turns out the my entire receiver kicked the bucket. Luckily my LHS had an Axe Cp with a bad 3 in1 board in the back so we cannibalized the receiver out of it and got my Axe back in the air. Just something to think about. And if you have not flown with a Lipo yet GET one ASAP. Since I got my lipos I don't even look at the stock NIMH battery.
