Ok, i have spent about a half hour on FS-One just for you buddy; Ok I was a little curious myself.

FS-One has some neat features like towing. I much prefer the edge 540 that comes with FS-One over the one in G3. But that’s just because I own an Edge 540. For most everyone else it would be a nill issue. I did some hovering and landings and then just general flight.

Hovering on FS-One might have been a little harder but im not totally sure as I was only on it for a half hour. Landing 3d planes was about the same as G3.5. Graphics left much to be desired, very much to be desired. And I noticed the Controller doesn’t have near the switches that the G3 controller has. I don’t know if this translates to fewer options or not as I didn’t have enough time to check everything out.

At the end of the day, I would have walked out of the store with G3.5. The differences in FS-One were so small that id have to go with the sim that had better graphics, and that’s something that G3 absolutely has over FS-One. And it's not just for aesthetics, you can actually better see your plane in the air in G3, allowing for more realistic reactions, and that’s obviously important.

But remember these graphics come at a cost; they need power so make sure your computer specs are good enough to run it.
