Yeah, as a Canadian, I try to avoid having anything sent via UPS, due to the extreme price gouging for brokerage.

BUT, UPS only gouges you on "Standard Service" shipping. If you ship things via their upgraded services (which means you're going to get it faster anyway), they do the brokerage for free. It's pretty whacked that (depending on weight and size) you can pay slightly more for shipping, get it faster, and save a buttload on brokerage!
