So when you connect the servos to the receiver normally, and turn the steering wheel, the wheels turn and then stay locked in that position, and won't return back? Sounds like something is binding up in the servo saver. I would disconnect the steering servo frome the steering linkage, and check to see if it is something mechanical in the steering system or it is electrical problem with the servo.
