Ken, I'm wondering if your clunk might be getting hung up at the back of the tank? It's sounds like it's set rich enough so I'm not thinking along those lines. How is your low speed set up? One thing you could try to is make your fuel line going from the tank to the carb go into a loop instead of straight over to it. A loop in the line seems to help keep it from draining the fuel over to the carb.
