It's too late now but for next time.
If there is a gap that runs the entire length of either the top or bottom it can often be fixed by removing just a little bit of material from the top or bottom of the center joiner. I do see a lot of bubbles in the covering, not your fault of course. A covering iron is needed to lay those back down and tighten up the covering in general. Iron the trim and seams first.
