RE: Got my first set of stuff in the mail for my trainer.
yeah I tried with a blow dryer and all it did was make the bubles more like ripples... I got most the ripples out but for now I'm going to leave it until I can get with an instructor or something.
I have encountered a small problem with the install. The front wheel installation section is pure poop in the manual... Doesn't give much info on how to do it. Only a few pictures. and I can't for the life of me figure out how to install the things that go into the servo horns and control horns. They are way too small to manipulate. I've posted photos explaining what I mean
Photo 1: Just my landing gear install on the back. I'm going to see how it holds up... I heard that's the worst part of the boomerang. If and when it lets go, I'll replace it with a gear I have at home.
Photo 2: The mounting bracket for the gear.(upside down)
Photo 3: Parts they say I need(Two rings I have no clue where they go, it doesn't show it in pic at all
Photo 4: Instructions for mounting front gear part 1
Photo 5: Instructions for mounting front gear part 2
Photo 6: This is suppose to connect to the gear control horn... 3 words(what the h*ll?) How do you work with that small thing? It accepts a small allen key on the top but it doesn't seem to be able to do anytthing about the thread part at the bottom. I took off one of the nuts to try and thread the horn but I can't get any leverage on the threaded part to turn it. There's no where to do that on this peace so I can't get it on. Is there a trick to this?
