Hey,
I did had the aerobird, well the t-hawk but it is almost the same! And i wanna say don't buy it! Now i have the sky scooter Pro2 which i bought from towerhobbies for $135 and everything is fine!
The good thing is my friend had a sky scooter pro 2 also and he crashed it from 50 or 75 ft with a 90 Degree angle into the ground. The nose went of and the propeller was broken but everthing else was untuched. We came home and we just used some epoxy and glued the nose back on. Since only one side of the propeller broke we could use screwdriver and used the one side of the second propeller that was in the box!.
Now the flight time of the t-hawk was better but i thought that the skyscooter was alittle bit easier to fly. Get the sky scooter and a charger that you can use at home and save money! The sky scooter is also so much better acrobatics! And btw: if you get the sky scooter make these checks before and in the flight:
• Check if everything is glued on (espacially the red things on the main wing)
• Check the arileon and the elevotor if everything works fine
• Check battery
• Before the flight, run into the wind with the sky scooter up and check every direction of the arilieon and the elevator
• Fly safe if you are a beginner (Don't start with acrobatics)
• If you hear the battery is almost empty and the motor doesn't have power it's time to land
• And the last thing turn the motor off before the you touch the ground abouth 10 feet of the ground.
That's all!
Sorry for my bad english, i'm german
