Sorry, but I have never done the modification you mention without doing other modifcations as well. Your Homelite 30cc, if properly prepared, should perform as well as a Zenoah 26cc, and cost a lot less. (Sorry Ralph...)

That carb is as large as you would want if it has a 12.7mm venturi. Just measure the smallest part of the carb throat to find out it's size for sure.
