3D, the pic of the plane with struts is the single stir stick mod. For a more stable airplane there is the double stir stick mod. The plane is much faster and can turn quicker in both mods. The mono mod without canards or stir sticks is a good way to meet your neighbors. Most of this is written up on the aeroace mods thread.
