Hi Guys!

I haven't been around for a while, in fact I last dropped in when p160 was the latest! Good to see all the action since.

I'm attaching a picture of a fairly extreme mod I tried (or should it be on the mods thread?? d'oh!). I decided to lengthen and lighten the tail with a drinking straw, and while I was at it I used the whole straw ( about 7cm increased to about 25cm...) to see what would happen... what happened was, it was fantastically stable and flew straight very well, but it wouldn't turn in the length of our 4 -court gym! So it's back to slightly longer than normal, I'm gonna try c10cm next. The other mods are single wing, extended wingtips as per usual.

The other pic is of my 16 gm (1/2 oz) Lancaster built originally for X-Twin gear, but I cheated and put in Plantraco kit with actuators on elevator and ailerons. She flies, but needs serious trimming/ long grass/ totally calm dry weather to make progress. I'm sure she'd be just as good with Silverlit gear.
