Why buy a Stryker B? Get the brushless and the power. You will use the speed sooner then you think. And it is not very quick to get up to speed. If you are gliding along and WOT, it takes a few seconds to really get up to speed. I think of it as kinda slow in that respect.

A Stryker C is a great chioce if you have windy conditons. The Styrker can take 20MPH winds and track very well.

The Phoon gets a little hairy around 15MPH winds. And if you WOT the Typhoon on high rates the air moving across the large surfaces makes it very responsive, very quickly.

Both are fine beginner through intermidiate planes if you take it easy. If you have your finger in the throttle then you are in for a wild ride with both.

Either way get a lipo right off the bat. And don't bother with the RTF junk. Get a Good TX/RX. The parkzone TX's do not have many options on them. Having dual rates is just not enough. Controlling endpoints, mixing flaps, dialing in expo and everything else will give you the ability to adjust your plane to your personal flying style. The Parkzone stuff just won't cut it for long.

Have Fun!
