Rjovale,
The parameters I described are very easy to make changes to and you could say they are intuitive to adjust as the attached picture shows.
To be honest, there are a couple setups that are not intuitive such as setting up aerofly for your own radio. I didn't fine it hard at all but it dose require a bit of thinking if your like me and choose not to read the manual

People prefer different sims for different reasons. Some like the game play ability where some like the technical aspects of a particular sim and the list goes on and on. I'm an amateur engineer and enjoy among many things designing airplanes and other flying machines. AFPD is very much like the real thing when it comes to designing aircraft for the software. Aerofly uses the wireframe(the image you see) to determine the moments, areas, center loads, and much of the aircrafts parameters. Even though a aircraft may start with the same driver file called a .TMD file, it's the wireframe that has the largest effect assuming the selected airfoils in the TMD file reflect the wireframe. And What makes it even cooler is the numbers in the sim reflect real life. Tell me how the engineers at Ipacs accomplished that! That to me is unbelievable but yet it's true. I only know that because of my vast experience in flying models, designing hundreds and flying far more. Many aerofly modelers like myself desire a model to fly in a certain way and have good qualities. Sometimes the desire to have a good flying model overcomes the realism aspect. Mass, thrust vectoring, and drag reductions are three sometimes exaggerated aspect of aerofly models and all are easily changeable. But if your one that chooses not to think or simply doesn't understand what's going on I can understand the bashing of Aerofly to a small extent. I'm a thinker and use Aerofly Pro Deluxe to it's fullest extent and love the program. The program is not so full of code you can't make changes outside the adjustable parameters in the program. As long as you know what makes aircraft tick and know what to change in and/or outside the sim the possibilities are endless. And I haven't found a sim other than AFPD yet the will give the feel I desire witch is so important to me.
If you end up choosing AFPD and have questions I can help as will others. If not, Best of luck with choosing a sim you will enjoy.

Hi could you by any chance tell me what settings to use on a specific plane to got the most realistic hovering experience out of AFDP? I have been using the Extra 330S and the hype 3d. But if you know good settings for any specific plane I will switch. Thanks in advance
