So the sensor sees the side (not the end) of the magnet through the side of the hub. OK that looks like a neat setup.

I am less concerned with detecting the high RPM than I am with with response time of the electronics, also whether any strange surging could happen during the transition when the engines come onto the pipes.

If I get this one ready in time maybe you can show me how to do another very low, very high-speed pass this summer? [X(]
