RE: Super tiger 2300- gas
5 years ago I purchased a large Super Tiger with the idea of converting it to gas. When I approached C&H I was told that:
1)I needed to replace the carb as the glow carb was not suitable for gas.
2) I would need to run 11% oil.
3) To use less oil I would need a new rod with needle bearings on the crank pin.
4) The crank pin was too soft to stand up to the needle bearings. I would need a new crankshaft.
5) I would need all this in addition to spark ignition and battery.
