2000-redrider is right. It is not the short shaft version. The short thaft versions of OS engines have a '(S)' in the name. For example '12 CV(S)'. While a 'X' designates a pull start. As in '12 CV-X(S)'.
I have that CV-R in my Kyosho Ultima. It is one sweet engine.
OS requires you to run at least 18% oil in your fuel. I think OS is the only manufacturer that requires that much oil for their car engines. I guess, since there is no warranty it really does not matter. :stupid: But it could not hurt.
Oh. I almost forgot. I had to cut the shaft. I got one of these
nuts to help me with the cutting.
