cut the antenna tube right where it comes out of the body then put a small pc. of old fuel tubing...about 1.5" long slip it on to the tube that is attached to the car then insert the rest of the antenna wire through the tube and insert the longer tube into the old fuel tubing....that way when u flip it upside down you won't break your antenna tube......it will flex with the fuel tubing on there......always put the joint right where the tube exits the body of the car...
