Fantastic program that is now an expensive paperweight. USB Controller faulty. Distributor response ..."Can't happen"..."It would be a first".
Bought in November...updated to 1.0.4....worked great until early Feb then intermittent operations with onscreen message to maintain USB connection. Reinstalled the program, same problem....intermittent. Installed on my laptop.....same intermittent problem. When this happens even Microsoft (Control Panel/Game Controllers) said no USB. USB required to remain connected message onscreen.
Attempt to calibrate achieves no response with random numbers on control channel icons (sometimes, not always).
Distributor will not even sell me a new USB controller but will of course sell me a complete package for A$225.
Very impressed with the program, but only when it works.
P.S. Computer above specs, no programs running in background. USB Controller sits on large desk with USB and other connections fed to a platform between desk and the wall so floor traffic etc not an issue. Unit is unmarked.
Conclusion is simple....the USB is faulty.
A USB controller replacement ....even if I have to pay....would solve the problem.
Is your USB unit plugged directly into your PC or are you using a hub? The unit does need a direct connection to the PC to work properly and we have received several reports of problems for people using hubs -- once they make a direct connection, it all works fine.
