Ok, so I have been reading a ton of garbage on Nitro Exhaust setups and having little luck with my certain question, I figure this to be the best place to ask..So here goes...
After having a ton of bad luck drifting with an oily rear tire from my side exit exhaust. I went to the Hobby shop and talked to them about the issue and possible fixes. They recommended a rubber tubing they had, I forget the diameter, but it was just big enough to fit on the exhausts "nipple/blowhole". Once I had it routed to the back, of course it stuck out too far for the body to go on. I decided to rotate the blowhole to the top and it fixed the body mounting woes.
I am curious if this will have an adverse effect on how my motor performs in the long run and if it will effect life...
I've not noticed a difference since doing this, but I am no expert, I have random stalls after it sits a while, but a few restarts and it runs like a champ then on, until it sits again lol...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance!
