That would be another way around the situation, to read the RPM's from the ignition. I like it.

On another note Bill:

I know you have an "accesory port" for the LED display for the RPM's. I was wondering, would it be possible to modify your set up to have a testing programmer. What I'm thinking of, is a unit that will give me the ability to type in an RPM number and the engine maintain that RPM (on the ground) purpose would be to test thrusts of the engines and different prop configurations. It would be a neat feature, but not required. or maybe just a throttle hold function. But for some reason I remember something about this.
