I would say it would effect performance, yes. However, an engine this small greatly relies on whats called "backpressure" so doing something like that could hinder performance rather than gain anything from it, might sound meaner, but that will just make you think its performing better...


The question I have is does the placement of the nipple/blowhole matter? Everything I have seen pumps it out the side of the canister, does putting it on top of bottom of the canister effect the way it works?
I know that the oil from the fumes wont exit it as easy if its on the top compared to it easily draining on the bottom side and I figure inbetween is where it most effectivly exits....since they have it there stock...
