New TJT Demon
Chris is not handling PST as Helijet is now. That may have been why he accelerated this project. The machined aluminum case is similar to the aluminum case on the 3000. Advantages are that it weighs about the same as the formed steel case, but is far more rigid and looks better, in my opinion. It costs a bit more to produce, but Chris told me that it saves some time later in assembly (or was it drilling the case holes, I forget), so the price difference is awash. One thing I really like about the Demon over the others is that it has an exhaust center body, I know the 500 and the 600 do not, not sure about the others (Wren???). That increases thrust by a significant % (he told me, I can't remember) and changes the sound. Less turbulence just behind the T wheel. I believe he will have one running in Florida next week.
